SOPANSTEP
India Foundation for Rural Development Studies (Infords) is a non-profit voluntary group, comprising of media professionals, cooperatives, academicians, researchers and thinkers who are dedicated to grassroots development. It was founded on January 14, 2005 when a few journalists and those who have been working in cooperative sector got together to launch it as a tool for positive change. We promote and patronize social projects, specialize in CSR, media strategies and philanthropic projects design along with content creation, publishing and media process outsourcing. Our Magazine Sopan-Step, considered an ace development magazine in three languages (Hindi, Oriya and English) has empowered the powerless and lent voice to rural poor for the last over five years. We have plans to expand our media campaign through 'Sopan Step' and our development news network to several other Indian languages for effectively reaching out to people in various states. More editions of 'Sopan Step' are being planned in near future.
